This product comes with a free 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. If at any time during the warranty period the part cracks, breaks, fades, or otherwise does not fit properly during normal use and installation the part will be replaced free to the original purchaser providing the original receipt. This warranty will not cover abuse, physical damage from impact, vehicle accidents, improper installation such as stripped screw holes, cutting, drilling, painting, etc.
Are you a 2nd generation Dodge ram truck owner? Well, it turns out that the dashboard initially designed for the Dodge Ram truck (between years 1994 – 2002) has a propensity of breaking. The dashboards were created using an inferior thermoplastic which was originally used by Chrysler.
In fact, many current owners of the affected models have shared that their dash have disintegrated making it not only uncomfortable to drive, but a safety hazard. We have seen many owners try to fix the problems and we have seen some comical solutions. DRT Parts was created after our parent company, All Dodge Truck, couldn’t keep up with the demand to solve a huge problem with the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 Dodge pickups.
Here’s the thing, the manufacturer has long discontinued the dashboard for these models and the only ones left are from salvage yards. I guess, if you want to go find a used dash, that’s up to you. We here at DRT Parts know you deserve more than salvaged parts. You deserve a brand new dashboard that is built using high quality material.
Our team has joined up with an amazing 3D scanning company which enables us to reverse engineer the 98 – 02 models. We understand that these models actually have different dash structures but we were able to construct a dash that can fit both models. Although it wasn’t easy, we found an injection molding company that is local to help us turn our dream into a reality. We know that our project is extensive, but we know that it is helping many people throughout the United States.
After extensive design and technological research, we developed a patent pending solution for the 1998-2002 Dodge Ram to make its dash Double Din stereo compatible. Through multiple 3D printed proof of concepts, our team delivered an innovative new product that preserves the original features while maintaining an optimal fit and finish.
